Holographic security foil is a specialty foil that uses microscopic optical structures to create changing visual effects when viewed from different angles or under different lighting conditions. It can combine holographic effects with customized patterns, images, textures, and other security features to make printed products more difficult to reproduce.
The optical effect is created by precisely engineered microstructures that control how light is reflected and diffracted from the foil surface. Depending on the design, the effect may appear to move, change color, reveal different images, or create a three-dimensional appearance as the viewing angle changes.
