Custom Affirmation Cards

Affirmation decks do not follow a fixed 78-card system. They are usually built around short statements, prompts, or exercises, so the card count, size, artwork, and guidebook can be tailored to the project.

From a manufacturing perspective, affirmation cards use the same core printing and finishing processes as other card decks, including custom cardstock, lamination, specialty finishes, and custom packaging.

Pricing depends on card count, card size, cardstock, surface finish, special effects, guidebook, box type, assembly, order quantity, and shipping destination.

Because specifications vary between affirmation projects, we quote each production job individually. Request a production quote with your specifications for accurate pricing.

Standard affirmation deck production starts from 200 decks. Specialty materials, unusual sizes or shapes, advanced finishes, and rigid packaging may require a higher minimum quantity.

Affirmation decks have no universal card count. Common projects use 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, or 60 cards, but the final count can be selected to suit your content and audience.

Yes. Each card can have its own affirmation, prompt, front design, or illustration. You can use one shared back design, several card backs, or different designs for separate card groups.

The best material depends on the required opacity, stiffness, thickness, texture, durability, shuffle feel, and price level. Matte or soft-touch finishes are common for affirmation cards because they reduce glare and keep short text comfortable to read.

Common options include smooth or linen black-core paper, blue-core paper, white cardstock, recycled paper, textured paper, and specialty materials. Compare physical materials with a sample pack before selecting cardstock for a retail deck.

Short text is printed with attention to font size, contrast, line spacing, colour density, and the selected coating. Flat colours and gradients can make banding or density variation more noticeable, so artwork should be checked carefully during proofing.

We recommend a pre-production proof when text legibility, colour matching, or a large area of flat colour is important.

Packaging dimensions are calculated from card count, card thickness, guidebook, inserts, and other included components.

Yes. Available finishing options may include foil stamping, spot UV, embossing, debossing, holographic effects, metallic inks, and gilded edges in gold, silver, holographic, metallic, or custom colours.

Compatibility depends on the cardstock, coating, artwork, quantity, and production method. A sample pack can help you compare finishes before production.

Yes. A pre-production sample can be used to review artwork, printed colour, text legibility, cardstock, finishes, guidebook, packaging, and assembly before mass production.

This is especially useful for retail launches and Kickstarter or crowdfunding projects. You can also request a sample pack when comparing general materials and finishes.

PDF is the preferred production format. Prepare raster artwork at 300 DPI in CMYK, extend full-bleed backgrounds beyond the trim line, and keep text, borders, logos, and symbols inside the safe area. See our artwork preparation guidelines and card templates.

Card faces and backs should be arranged in the correct order. Foil, spot UV, embossing, and other special finishing elements should be supplied on separate clearly named layers.

Production time depends on quantity, cardstock, finishes, guidebook, packaging, sampling, and the approval process. Bulk affirmation deck projects generally require approximately 20–45 days after artwork, specifications, and samples have been approved. Shipping time is not included.
