You can choose from a variety of paper materials. Then, we will process them to make them writable, dry-erase and waterproof flash cards.
Black Core Cardstock Video
▶German-made black core cardstock provides high opacity, consistent thickness, and reliable handling during repeated use. Available with a smooth or linen surface, it is commonly selected for playing cards, tarot cards, game cards, magic decks, and other projects where light blocking and card feel matter.
White Core Cardstock Video
▶White core cardstock is an economical and versatile material with good color reproduction and a broad range of available weights. It is less opaque than blue or black core cardstock, making it better suited to flash cards, learning cards, inserts, promotional decks, and projects where maximum light blocking is not required.
Blue Core Cardstock Video
▶Blue core cardstock offers a practical balance of opacity, flexibility, print quality, and production cost. It blocks more light than white core while remaining suitable for a wide range of commercial card projects, including game cards, tarot and oracle decks, promotional cards, and standard retail products.
PVC Cards Video
▶PVC is a waterproof and tear-resistant alternative to paper cardstock. It withstands frequent handling, moisture, and cleaning, but feels and shuffles differently from paper cards. Available colors, transparency, printing methods, and surface effects depend on the selected PVC specification.

Recycled cardstock contains recycled paper fibers and has a natural appearance that may vary slightly between production batches. It provides a more sustainable option for custom cards while supporting standard printing and selected finishing processes. Printed samples are recommended when exact color reproduction is important.

Metallic film-laminated cardstock combines a paper cardstock base with a reflective gold, silver, or colored metallic film. The metallic surface remains visible through printed areas unless white ink or another blocking layer is used, allowing the material to become part of the artwork.
Holographic Paper Video
▶

Holographic film-laminated cardstock combines a paper cardstock base with a rainbow or patterned holographic film. The effect changes with light and viewing angle and can remain visible across the full card or be controlled with white ink and printed artwork layers.

Textured specialty paper has a visible and tactile surface formed during paper production. Unlike standard linen playing-card stock, these papers may feature felt, laid, woven, fiber, or other decorative textures. Fine artwork and small text should be tested because heavier textures can affect print detail.
Diffractive Paper Video
▶

Diffractive film-laminated cardstock uses a micro-structured optical film to produce directional light movement, depth, and angle-dependent patterns. It creates a stronger and more controlled visual effect than standard rainbow holographic film and is mainly used for premium or limited-edition card projects.

Standard flash cards can be ordered from one set through our online customization platform.
Highly customized projects involving special materials, mounted thick cards, custom shapes, ring binding, advanced finishes, or custom packaging generally start from 200 sets. Some materials and packaging structures may require a higher MOQ.
Available standard sizes include:
Smaller formats are suitable for portable vocabulary and memory cards, while larger formats provide more space for illustrations, instructions, classroom demonstrations, and early-learning content.
Custom sizes, square cards, oversized cards, and die-cut shapes are also available.
Yes. Every card can contain different text, images, questions, answers, translations, instructions, or illustrations.
We can also produce numbered sequences, color-coded learning levels, category cards, divider cards, multiple languages, and different card groups within the same set.
Yes. Both sides can be printed in full color. Common layouts include a question on the front and an answer on the back, a word and translation pair, an image and description pair, or an instruction and demonstration pair.
Front and back files must be supplied in the correct matching order.
The best material depends on the target age, usage frequency, writing requirements, durability, and budget.
Available options include coated cardstock, writable uncoated paper, black-core and blue-core cardstock, laminated white cardstock, recycled paper, thick mounted paperboard, and waterproof plastic materials. Physical samples are recommended when comparing thickness, stiffness, texture, and writing performance.
Yes. Children’s flash cards can be produced using thicker mounted paperboard structures that are more rigid and easier for small hands to hold.
Card thickness, size, corner radius, lamination, and surface treatment can be adjusted according to the target age and intended use.
Material testing or product compliance support can also be discussed when required. Specific safety claims depend on the selected materials and completed test reports.
Yes. Rounded corners are commonly used for children’s cards, classroom cards, and frequently handled study sets.
Different corner radii are available, and square corners or custom die-cut shapes can also be produced.
Yes. We can provide uncoated writing surfaces for pencils and pens, or produce cards with a printed coated front and a writable back.
The recommended material depends on the writing tool, whether the writing must be permanent, and how frequently the cards will be used.
Yes. A suitable laminated or coated surface can be used with compatible dry-erase markers.
The exact writing and cleaning performance depends on the selected surface and marker type, so testing a sample before bulk production is recommended.
Yes. Waterproof or water-resistant flash cards can be produced using PVC, PP, PET, or laminated paper-based materials.
These options are suitable for early-learning products, outdoor activities, therapy tools, fitness instructions, and cards that require frequent cleaning.
