Everything you need to plan your custom card project in one place. Estimate GSM and thickness, convert card sizes, calculate deck weight, check draw probability, and plan your deck or box dimensions. Scroll down to start.
Estimate stock thickness from GSM, or find the GSM for a known thickness.
Convert card width and height between metric and imperial units.
Estimate card-stock weight by card size, material, GSM, and order quantity.
Calculate the chance of finding a target card in your opening hand or after drawing more cards.
Check deck and box dimensions when planning a custom card package.
Use these quick calculators to estimate cardstock thickness, convert card sizes, calculate card and order weight, plan print quantities, and check deck and box dimensions.
Reference values only. Actual thickness may vary by paper grade, coating, construction, and supplier. Values between listed points are interpolated.
Convert card width and height between metric and imperial units. All six unit conversions are listed below.
Estimate card-stock weight from card dimensions, paper type, GSM, and order quantity.
Card-stock estimate only; boxes and packaging are not included.
Check one card at a time. Enter the deck size, copies of that card, cards you will see, and copies you want to find.
Example: 60 cards total · 4 copies of your key card · 7 cards in your opening hand · need 1 copy.

Turn rows use a standard 7-card opening hand, one card drawn per turn, and the player going first skipping the first draw. Mulligans, search effects, replacement effects, and additional card draw are not included.
Estimate the internal depth and footprint needed for your cards, extra contents, and selected box style.
Clearance ranges are planning allowances, not supplier specifications. Confirm the final internal dimensions with your box manufacturer.

The tool converts GSM (grams per square metre) to an estimated card-stock thickness, or converts a known thickness back to an estimated GSM. Select the material first, then enter a value or choose one of the reference points.
It uses the reference points for German Black Core, Blue Core, and White Core / Coreless stock. Values between listed points are interpolated, so the result is a planning estimate rather than a supplier certificate.
Choose the stock that matches the construction you are planning: German Black Core for high opacity and a firm premium deck feel, Blue Core for a practical everyday option, or White Core / Coreless for bright general card work.
Then enter the GSM supplied by your paper or printing vendor. If you do not have a value yet, use the tool’s reference buttons as a starting point. GSM is not a universal thickness conversion because different paper constructions can have different calipers at the same GSM.
The tool uses reference points and interpolation. Actual caliper changes with the paper grade, coating, fibre construction, moisture, finishing, and supplier tolerance, so two stocks labelled with the same GSM may not measure identically.
Use the estimate for early box, weight, and quantity planning. Once you have a physical sample or a vendor specification, switch the Deck Box Depth Calculator to its known final-thickness option and use the measured value for the final packaging check.
Enter the card width and height, choose the input unit, and the converter returns the same dimensions in the output unit. The results panel also lists the conversion in micrometres, millimetres, centimetres, inches, feet, and yards.
For a quick start, select a common preset such as Poker / TCG (63 × 88 mm), Bridge (57 × 89 mm), Japanese TCG (59 × 86 mm), Tarot (70 × 120 mm), or one of the mini, square, flash-card, and business-card formats. Use custom values when your finished card is outside those presets.
Yes. Type any positive width and height into the Card Size Converter, then select the unit those numbers use. The converter does not assume a playing-card ratio, so it can handle custom game cards, tiles, inserts, flash cards, or packaging components.
Use the swap control when you want to exchange the input and output units. The values are converted mathematically; they are not rounded to the nearest standard card size.
Enter card width, card height, paper type, GSM, cards per deck, and number of decks. The calculator estimates one-card weight from card area × GSM, then multiplies it by the cards in one deck and the total number of decks.
The results show one card, one deck, total cards, and total card-stock weight. Use the Card Size Converter first if your dimensions are in inches or another unit, and keep the dimensions in millimetres when entering them here.
No. The Card & Deck Weight Calculator estimates card stock only. Its result does not include the tuck box, rigid box, booklet, divider, shrink wrap, inserts, shipping carton, or other packaging components.
Coating and finishing can also change the final shipped weight. Treat the result as a material baseline, then add packaging and a practical tolerance when planning freight, postage, or carton limits.
Use it to turn a print-run target into clear deck and card counts before you calculate weight or packaging. A simple planning check is cards per deck × number of decks = total cards; include spare decks or replacement cards separately rather than hiding them inside the deck count.
Keep the same card count and deck count when moving to the Weight Calculator and Deck Box Depth Calculator. That keeps the material weight, card-stack thickness, and packaging estimate tied to one production plan.
Select the finished card size, enter cards per deck and decks in one box, choose the card stock and GSM, and select the box style. The tool estimates the card stack, adds any booklet or divider thickness, and applies a small planning allowance for the selected tuck, rigid, or drawer box.
The result is a recommended internal width × height × depth range. It is a packaging-planning estimate, not a final dieline; confirm the finished caliper and internal clearance with your box manufacturer before production.
Enter the actual added thickness in millimetres, not the number of booklet pages or the flat length of an insert. These values are added to the card stack to estimate the required box depth.
Box style controls the planning allowance: a tuck box, rigid lift-off box, and drawer box need different clearances. If you do not have an insert or booklet, leave those fields at zero. If the finished sample is tight, use the known final card thickness option and confirm the box dimensions with your supplier.
